Do you know the moments that matter most to your clients?

Transcript

Hi, it’s Peter Winick. I’m the founder and CEO at Thought Leadership Leverage, and here’s the idea that I’d like to share with you today, and that’s this: Do you really know and understand the moments that matter to your clients?

What do I mean by this? Well, as thought leaders, we often have the supply, right? We’re ready and willing and able to help and support our clients with whatever they need, right? But the demand could be a little bit tricky. When do they need us most?

Well, when do they need us most could be connected and is often connected to a moment that matters for them. It could be a merger and acquisition at an organization that leads to integration work. It could be a new product launch. It could be a change in leadership. It could be lots and lots and lots of different things.

My question, my thought, my suggestion is: Have you documented properly all the potential, or at least the top five, let’s say, moments that matter to your clients? And are you positioning and addressing your thought leadership to be a solution to some of the issues that come up at those moments in time so that they know that you’re a great resource to them when that happens? Because we don’t always know when those things happen.

So, love to hear your thoughts, as always. Thank you.
