If someone’s interested in the book, Will you help them with that? Or no?
Yeah. So we are not book agents and we are not publishers. But we guide and advise and help. Because the mistake that a lot of people make is, they make the book the center of the universe and the book should not be the tail that wags the dog. The book is one place that your content lives. You could touch it. You can feel it. Makes a thud when it goes on a desk. But it’s usually the most expensive and the least profitable just on a direct dollar for dollar. If it’s integrated thoughtfully into your marketing and strategy and all those sort of things, it’s a great thing. But I think there’s sort of the book industry complex if you will that still thinks you need a publicist, and you need an agent, and you need all that. And we question all those things because for some you do. But for many there are alternative ways to get there.
So if I stroked you a big reader and said, “Hey, I want you to do it for me.” Do you help me?
Figure out all of those integrated things. Like Brad, if you’re gonna do this, you’re gonna need to have a mastermind. You’re gonna need to have an inner circle.
You’re gonna need to have an annual event.
Yep. Yeah. Totally. And then there are things that are outside of our core competence so for example if you needed a speechwriter or a ghost writer or something like that we have relationships with some of the top in the world. So I’d say listen, “I’ve seen your sentences, we need a little help. We need to get you a ghost writer here. Go talk to my friend so-and-so and you know he’s got an agency that’s ,you know, worked with the world’s finest.”
