I believe that for every dollar that you make speaking or fill-in-the-blank coaching, advising, consulting, you need to have systems and processes in place that can net you 10 X those dollars in non analog revenue. Not selling more of you. Because speaking is the weirdest business from the perspective of the greater I do and the more I give it away to this one audience, the lower the probability they will bring you back to this exact event next year. That just doesn’t work. Right? Like that doesn’t make any sense but that’s the nature of the business. No matter how well you do, it is unlikely you will be back next year. So how do you do that? So if you’re if you’re a ten thousand dollar speaker, how are you generating a hundred thousand dollars in revenue in every event? It’s got to be the product mix that you have. You got to have the right mix and the right tools for the audience. It’s got to be coupling that with the systems and processes that are necessary to communicate to the right people at the right time the value that you’re bringing to the table. And it’s got to be able to play the long game.
